Our custody police blanket is widely used across a variety of custodial facilities and is specifically designed to support the close supervision of service users.

Constructed from a single layer of heavyweight, flame-retardant polyester, this blanket features reinforced seams and hems sewn with high-strength thread for enhanced durability and increased resistance to tearing. The material is carefully selected to make the creation of ligatures more difficult, prioritising user comfort while reducing the risk of harm. Please note that while the “anti-ligature design” makes it challenging to form ligatures, it does not make it impossible. Ideal for overnight stays of individuals held in custody, this blanket is sized to fit a single bed and can be washed at thermal disinfection temperatures.
