Description
This Personal Forestry First Aid Kit contains additional essential items and is supplied in a durable nylon belt pouch, which can be easily attached to a belt or harness.
HSE workplace first aid guidelines apply to all workplaces, whether indoors or outdoors. Employers must ensure proper first aid provision for forestry workers, arborists, and tree surgeons. Access to adequate first aid supplies should be available at all times.
In addition to this kit, forestry workers are required to carry a more comprehensive first aid kit. The Forestry England Personal First Aid Kit must be carried at all times while operating a chainsaw. Users should receive appropriate training on how to use the kit’s contents. At a minimum, the kit should include one or more haemostatic dressings, a combat-style tourniquet, and a whistle. A larger worksite first aid kit should also be available in a central location.
