The BS8599-1:2019 Critical Injury Packs are specifically designed to treat patients suffering from severe injuries. Ideal for those working in manufacturing, operating machinery, construction, or forestry, each kit is supplied fully equipped with essential items to help control severe blood loss, including a tourniquet and haemostatic granules.
Our standard pack is suitable for environments assessed as low risk. It features standard haemostatic dressings, trauma dressings, and a compact military-style tourniquet with an aluminium rod.
We recommend conducting a needs assessment to determine the appropriate number of Critical Injury Packs required. Both employees and members of the public present at your location should be considered when making this assessment.
The BS8599-1:2019 Compliant Critical Injury Pack is intended as a supplementary kit, providing additional support alongside standard workplace first aid provisions in line with current regulations.
