How to Use ChitoGauze XR Pro

Application:

1. Open the foil pouch and remove the ChitoGauze XR Pro.
2. Place or pack the gauze directly onto the bleeding site, ensuring complete coverage of the affected area. For severe bleeding, additional dressings may be required.
3. Apply firm, direct pressure until bleeding stops.
4. Once bleeding is controlled, secure the ChitoGauze XR Pro with an appropriate secondary dressing.

Removal:

• ChitoGauze XR Pro may be left in place for up to 48 hours.
• To remove, gently lift the dressing from the wound.
• If the gauze sticks to the wound, moisten it with saline or water to assist with easy removal.
