How to Use SAM® ChitoSAM™ 100:

1. Cover: Open the packaging from any side and apply the dressing directly to the wound.
2. Clot: Apply firm pressure for 3 minutes to promote rapid clotting and control bleeding.
3. Control: Secure with an appropriate cover dressing, maintaining pressure as needed.

General Advice:

• Choose the appropriate dressing size based on the wound and bleeding amount.
• Dressing can remain in place for up to 24 hours; remove carefully and rinse the wound with sterile saline or water.
• Do not use on or near the eyes.
• Not suitable for individuals with known shellfish allergies due to chitosan content.
